The strategic position enjoyed by the
Tenuta di Vitiano on the border of Tuscany and Umbria
makes the estate easily reached from all main Umbrian
and Tuscan towns. A convenient road network (highways
and speedways) makes all main airports of central
Italy (Florence, Rome, Pisa) easily reached.
The estate may be reached by
car on the A1 highway
If you are travelling from north:
- exit A1 Arezzo
- take a left, direction Arezzo
- About 5 miles down the road follow signs for Perugia
– Cortona (S.R. 71)
- Travel down the S.R. 71, direction Cortona until
you hit the hamlet of Vitiano
- As you drive through town take a right to Poggio
Ciliegio
- After about ½ mile take a left driving along
the perimeter wall of the Tenuta di Vitiano that will
be on your right
- At the end of the perimeter wall you will find the
entrance to the estate on your right.
If you are travelling from south:
- exit A1 Monte San Savino
- take a right, direction Cesa and drive all the way
to the town of Castiglion Fiorentino
- As you get to Catiglion Fiorentino get on the S.R.
71, direction Arezzo and drive to the hamlet of Vitiano
- Driving through town go past the church on your
right and take a left to Poggio Ciliegio
- After about ½ mile take a left driving along
the perimeter wall of the Tenuta di Vitiano that will
be on your right
- At the end of the perimeter wall you will find the
entrance to the estate on your right.

Rome):
- Train station of Castiglion Fiorentino
- Train station of Arezzo
